Neko Flash composed this EP during his travels in Vietnam for the Lunar New Year. The duality between the country&#8217;s ultra-modern and very traditional aspects, between the frenzy of Hanoi&#8217;s streets and the calm of the pagodas, inspired him to create an EP fusing traditional organic sounds, orchestral instruments, and electronic music in an epic, orchestral atmosphere. The majestic and powerful Long leads to infinite skies, while the regenerative flames of the Ph\u01b0\u1ee3ng embody hope and rebirth, the soothing Quy plunges us into the depths of wisdom, and the L\u00e2n, a symbol of prosperity and peace, dances with joy and grace. Finally, the title &#8220;T\u1ee9 Linh&#8221; joyfully closes this EP in a luminous and airy atmosphere. &#8220;T\u1ee9 Linh&#8221; transports us to a world on the border between dream and reality, where tradition and modernity meet to create a dreamlike odyssey, a moment of escape out of time, a vibrant tribute to Vietnamese spirituality. This release is accompanied by a series of Vlogs on his journey.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yurei  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-f56f613f wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">With his EP <strong>Yurei, mixing electronic music with seventies inspirations and oriental sounds, Neko Flash brings us to the very core of japanese folklore<\/strong>. Yurei are spirits who can\u2019t find peace so they hunt the livings, expressing their sadness and wrath.Many stories around these spirits called Kaidan and dating from the 17th century have been adapted into movies and plays. Indeed you can find them in works such as the writings of Yakumo Koizumi, legendary movies by Kaidan Eiga from the fifties and sixties as Kwaidan, Kuroneko, Yatsuya Kaidan and J-Horror movies as Ringu and Ju-On, movies that are a great source of inspiration for Nekoflash. From a purely musical point of view, he finds inspiration in electronic music from the seventies and loves asian sounds. In those sounds you can hear biwa, genkan, koky\u00fc, shakuhachi that are in great harmony with vintage synthesizers. You can also find many rythms and musical arrangements that evoke masterpieces from N\u00f4 and Kabuki plays.\u00a0Don\u2019t be fooled by his malicious looks, there are several levels of reading to his world. Stories circulate about Point Nemo. In 1926, writer H.P. Lovecraft sketched its contours for the fictional city of R&#8217;lyeh, the lair of the cosmic abomination Cthulhu. A foreboding for this place of absolute isolation (2700 km away from any civilization) that would become a graveyard for space debris. A few months after his electrifying debut single &#8220;Thunderstorm&#8221; and his remix for Carmen Maria Vega on the incandescent &#8220;La Fille de Feu,&#8221; <strong>Neko Flash plunges us into the depths of the oceans with his first EP, &#8220;Point Nemo&#8221;<\/strong>. Mixing 80&#8217;s sounds and electronica, the Parisian&#8217;s EP consists of 4 tracks with a dreamy sound, combining the synthetic elements of Jean Michel Jarre, the exoticism of Fakear, and the dreaminess of Flume.
